New in: Essence - Hello Rosy!
This is a new polish from their Colour&go line. It has a sparkle sand effect.
The base colour is dusty rose with pink/red glitter. It reminds me of mixed strawberries. The application is easy and it needs at least two coats to be fully opaque. Its drying time is a bit longer then I'd like but it's not too long. The texture finish is very visible. I forgot to try it with a top coat on, so that's something I still need to do =) What do you think? Do you like it?

GOT polish challenge - DOTS
I've decided to join GOT challenge. And the theme for today is DOTS.
I've wanted to try this design since the last time I went to swimming pool. Why? Because pools have had this really great tiles around them, something similar to the picture bellow:
But the ones I was looking at have had spaces inbetween. I choose the colour orange for the dots.
The base is Essence Must-have, from their Multidimension line, which was(I believe) discontined in 2010 or 2011.
I did dots with three Essence polishes:
Doc from Snow white LE(2012)
Bad girl from Cute as hell LE(2010)
Caramel cheese cake from Home sweet home LE(2012)
What do you think? Thanks for looking ;)

Essence & Catrice discontinuing series: Gold fever polish
Another polish being discontinued from Colour & go line. This one is a mixture of gold and red glitters in clear base. At one coat it is a great polish for layering, but with three it is fully opaque. Application is easy, removal not so much - I suggest you use the foil metod.
I hope you don't mind, I still have one in the old bottle, but the polish is the same. Above picture is one coat of the polish. The ones from bellow are with three coats.
It is really a lovely polish, either for layering or to wear on its own. It does dry a bit longer, that what I am used too - for me drying time should be 5mins for a layer, LOL. But I would recommend it for sure!

Essence & Catrice discontinuing series: Me & my lover nail polish
Another textured polish from Essence. This one is red base with pink and gold glitters. I've read online that some girls have problems with its drying time, but mine dries fast. Application is easy.
I really love the look of this polish, the texture is really visible and it looks great!
I also tried it with top coat:
But I don't like it all that much, to be honest. I love it without top coat, with it it's just a regular red glitter polish. Lovely, but nothing special.

Essence & Catrice discontinuing series: Chic reloaded polish
This is Essence Colour & go nail polish in Chic reloaded. This is a duochrome polish. The base is dark grey with shimmer that shifts from pink/purple to green. It needs 2-3 coats for full opacity, so I decided to also try it over black. You can see it over black on my little and middle finger on the picture - there's not much difference, so there is no need to layer it over black. On the other two fingers I have two coats of polish, all pictures are without top coat.

Essence & Catrice discontinuing series: Hey, nude! nail polish
I decided to show the products Essence and Catrice are discontinuing in spring 2014. There is a bunch of product, so I'll have a lot to show - not only polishes but make up too. There are product I am really sad to see to go, some I won't miss at all.
Today, I have Essence Hey, nude! nail polish from their Colour&go line. This is a texture polish, which Essence describes as "sparkle sand effect". It is a nude polish with silver and white glitters, that dry into a textured finish. The formula is great, and it dries fast - 1coats dries around 5 min. But it has one BIG downside - it is rather sheer, so you need at least three coats for it to be opaque. But the colour is amazing. I really like it, it look so sophicticated and elegant. On the pictures I have three coats, and you can see I could do at least one more for it to really be fully opaque, but I love it this way.
I also tried it with a top coat on, and I have to say, it looks great this way also!

NOTD: Essence Blossoms etc. - I like
Blossoms etc. is a trend edition from year 2011. At the time I got 4 polishes and I still love and wear them. Todays NOTD is #02 from this collection I like. I like is a light green polish with blue shimmer, opaque in 2 coats. It dries in a normal time, 10-15min. The application is easy.
I just couldn't leave it at that, so I added a layer of Essence Colour & go nail polish in Make it golden! which is sadly discontinued. This is a polish I absolutelly love. It's big and small golden glitters packed in a clear base. You don't have to fish out glitters, they come out very easy.
And the combo looks just amazing! Really beautiful!!

Review: Essence Metal glam blush
I bought this blush yesterday. It contains 0.84 fl.oz/25ml of the product. It comes in a tube, which I like. The opening is protected with a foil, so you can be sure to get completelly new product(which is a big plus, since people here tend to test everything!).
The blush itself is lovely orange-peachy colour with gold shimmer. You have to be very carefull not to put too much of it, since it can be build up really well. It can be blend very easily and it is quite resistant.
I really like it and I know I will be wearing it a lot!

Essence Happy holidays LE tinted lip balm 01 Run, run Rudolph!
I bought this lip balm a while ago, but I just tried it for the first time.
The lip balm is very moisture and doesn't dry my lips. It's easily applied and you can build up the colour. Whit only 1 layer the colour is very light, somewhere between pink and red.
I don't really like how it smells or tastes(yep, I have to try everything what I have on my lips, usually I forget I have anything and lick my lips). It has that artificial smell. I don't see myself wearing it a lot.

Review: Essence Love letters stampy set and stamping nail polish
The polish is dark grey creme. I expected it to be more opaque and thick, but it is really not that much - if you'd use it as a normal polish, you'd need two coats for it to look opaque. It dries semi matte. And it dries quick. It is a bit difficult to apply because of brush strokes.
The stamping set includes 1 stamp, 1 scraper and 1 image plate with 9 designs.
I won't use the scraper, becase it is made of metal, and it can damage the image plate.
The designs are mostly conected to love, so it is a perfect image plate for Valentine's day. You have hearts, love, cupid and butterfly. The image plate is covered with protective transparent foil, which you have to remove prior to use - but they have this written on it, so there's no worries if you removed it or not. My plate has this weird dots on it, and when I tried, they are carved into the plate as well as the images - maybe I just picked up a bad one, I don't know. I will contact the reseller and let you know.
Unfortunatelly not even my stamper is okay. It appears to have a cut right in the middle of it.
I tried all the designs and I'm happy with it. You have to understand that I didn't really try with this, I just quickly tried them. I tried all of them with Inkheart, and I am satisfied with how well it works. Because of its not-so-great opacity I thought it wouldn't work, but it does!
I left the hearth on the first picture this way on purpose, so you can see what the cut on the stamper does to a design. It's a shame really, designs are lovely and if you are into stamping, I say get it, it doesn't cost that much.

Layering with P2, Nfu Oh and MaxFactor
I've had this mani on from Saturday, so please, excuse slight tipwear.
I've had something similar in my head for a while and I finally decided to try it. Can I say how much I love it? It is one of my favourited manis I have ever had!
I started it with 1 coat of P2 Sensual purple from Mirror, mirror collection (this one is also amazing on its own!), added one coat of Nfu Oh #51 and one coat of Max Factor Fantasy fire. I topped it all with Essence Better then gel nails high gloss. This mani was done(dry and everything) in about 20min, because I was in a hurry.
I couldn't stop staring at my nails and shifting them to see every aspect of it. So, I have a few pictures, which show the best the different dimensions of this manicure.
What do you think?
